My niece who lives in Switzerland and is seven years old (Grade 2) went on a school field trip to the Fondation Beyelera (correct spelling). The class went to view a large retrospective devouted to the work of Jean Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) in celebration of the museum’s fiftieth anniversary.....when I was that age I was going to the zoo and taking a tour of the kitchen at McDonalds....Europeans know how to educate. It should be noted she was very "critical" of his work when I ask if she liked the exhibit and showed her some of the prints we had in the house...
